This Is It! Unedited shots of people in Amsterdam, reflected in a puddle. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. This is it, the last time that you can come to the 'ABC Treehouse' in the Voetboogstraat 11 and visit the 'MultiCulti' exhibition where the lovely Monyart and myself will be patiently waiting for you with a giant pot of hot, steaming coffee and uberdelicious chocolate-cookies...of course you can also see our photos hanging on the wall, but going by the reactions of the visitors in the last month, it all seems to be about the coffee&cookies, lol. Don't miss it, this is a historical chance and you'll hate yourself for years and years to come if you let it pass by, get your lazy behind on your bike/on a plane/train and do it, do it now, do it! Really, just do it, you know you want to, and it's good for you too, haha :-D

Meeting 2 'Flickr Celebrities' (lol, sorry, I know I'm an arrogant prick ;)) in real life is not reason enough for you to risk getting wet in the daily rain shower in the best city in the world?! How about I'll brew you a yummie cup of coffee and offer you some chocolate-cookies?! That works for you?! Excellent, hope to see you at the Treehouse then :))

The Puddle Panda Unedited shots of the lovely Miss Monyart trying to shoot me last Sunday outside the 'Fior di Gelato' ice-cream shop in Amsterdam, reflected in a puddle. Last Sunday the good people of the 'Fior di Gelato' ice-cream shop celebrated their first Anniversary and invited everybody for some free ice-cream...needless to say that the shop was overrun by visitors and we all had a great time and yes, free ice-cream, it was a lot of fun and of course superdelicious, yumyum. If you missed it, I'll try to make up for it by offering you some of my delicious coffee and chocolate-cookies at the last day of the 'MultiCulti' exhibition at the 'ABC Treehouse' in the Voetboogstraat 11 this Saturday, October 30, the last and final chance to spend some quality time in the Treehouse with me and the

Down The Stretch They Come! Unedited shots of bikers and buildings reflected in a puddle in Amsterdam. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. Just a few more days and it'll be the final day of the 'MultiCulti' exhibition at the 'ABC Treehouse' in the Voetboogstraat 11, Saturday, October 30, it'll be all over and you'll never get another chance to meet me and/or the lovely Miss Monyart in real life...unless you ask nicely of course, then we'll be more than happy to have a coffee with you anywhere in the best city in the world, hehe. I'd like to say 'Almost weekend', but due to circumstances I had to give up my free Friday until the end of the year, so instead of having a bit more time for fun things as expected, I'll have even less of those precious few hours that are dedicated to puddle hunting, biking around, and in general just enjoying the sights and sounds of my beloved hometown, but yeah, that's life :)

The Rich People Resort UUnedited shot of boats and buildings reflected on the Singel canal in Amsterdam. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. The inner city area of Amsterdam houses some of the oldest, most beautiful and pricey buildings in the whole country and only the most fortunate ones of us can afford to live there..I'm not and I can't, but still I don't envy those good folks one bit, every morning they come out of their royal houses only to step into tourist vomit and having to wade through tons of thrown-away trash and the occasional dead/drunk/stoned person on their door-step...poor rich people, hahaha ;-P 
I will temporarily occupy a tiny part of their beautiful part of the best city in the world though when I'll be at the 'ABC Treehouse' in the Voetboogstraat 11 at the 'MultiCulti' exhibition again this Saturday, October 30, it will be the last day of the expo and your final chance to meet myself and the lovely Miss Monyart there, pass by if you can and bring all your friends and you might find us smiling at you like we did in this picture taken by the cool Mrs. I amsterdam :)) Rich People Resort Movie I've made a movie of the canal too, view it on my YouTube channel :)

We wanted to have this open discussion forum about the pros and cons of having foreigners add their personal flavor to the best country in the world at the Gallery, but since the fools of the English Defence League are coming to Amsterdam that day to show us how much they love Geert Wilders, we've postponed our event by one week...the good news is that you can hang out with the lovely Miss Monyart and me, myself&I one more Saturday without having to have an opinion on this confusing topic, come and visit us, you know you want to...and if you need more motivation, there'll be delicious free coffee and cookies, yummie :-P

At The Treehouse Again Unedited shots of visitors in the 'ABC Treehouse' in Amsterdam yesterday. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8 and my C905 mobile phone. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. Yesterday I was the Artist in Residency at the 'ABC Treehouse' in the Voetboogstraat 11 for the 'MultiCulti' exhibition again, and even though it was raining most of the time, lots of nice people came by to visit me and the lovely Miss Monyart there again and the cool Miss Marjon a.k.a. 'I amsterdam' took this really cool picture of us, thanks a lot guys&girls, it was fun again :)) 
Because my brain is the size of a peanut and I haven't slept very much lately, I've been telling everybody that yesterday was the last day of the exhibition but of course that's not true, it's going on until the end of the month, October 30 will be the final day, hahaha! We were going to have an open discussion forum about the influence of foreigners living in the best country in the world on the 30st, but because the crazy Skinheads of the English Defence League have announced that they're coming to Amsterdam that day, to show their support for Geert Wilders (who doesn't want them to come), and everybody who disagrees with that has said they'll come as well, to beat some sense into their shaved heads, we're expecting a wicked Saturday with (hopefully not!) violence, street fighting and other unwanted and unnecessary things, the discussion will take place a week later and it's an by Invitation only kinda thing...that's sad and sucks, but what can you do against the stupidity of humans, sigh...

Today I will be at the 'ABC Treehouse' in the Voetboogstraat 11 again as the Artist in Residency for the 'MultiCulti' exhibition, together with the lovely Miss Monyart. This is one of your last chances to meet us there in real life, the exhibition ends October 30 and after that day we're going deep underground again and you'll have to be very lucky to bump into us anywhere in the best city in the world, lol. That's not true of course, we're always out there, shooting people and puddles, creating a visual collage of Amsterdam that will eventually convince everybody who sees it, to spend their hard-earned money to come to the Netherlands and try to hang out with us, and so they should, it's good for them and the local economy too :) Have a nice weekend, enjoy the time off, spend it with somebody you love and appreciate!

More photos of the 'Hermitage' reflected on a bench, because you liked them so much. I'm sure they have plenty of cool things to look at in there, but like with all the other Museums in Amsterdam, I have not visited it and I will very likely never see the inside because I'm a bit of an Ignoramus when it comes to Culture...I prefer creating my own artsy overview of the best city in the world, that surely counts too, right?! Right?! No, you don't think so?! Oh well, maybe I'll borrow the Museumcard of the lovely Miss Monyart one of those days and have a look at all the treasures that they've accumulated, and that seem to attract so many visitors from far away places, I'm sure it'll be good for me :)) 
P.s.: I'm such an Idiot, I've been telling everybody that the last day of the 'MultiCulti' exhibition at the 'ABC Treehouse' in the Voetboogstraat 11 will be this Saturday, while the exhibition continues until the end of the month, the last day will be Saturday the 30st of October and not tomorrow...I need a freakin' vacation, hahaha :D

That's right, the end is near for the 'MultiCulti' exhibition at the 'ABC Treehouse' in the Voetboogstraat 11! Saturday will be the final day and to make a point, we, and hopefully you and your friends too, will have an open forum discussion about the pros and cons of letting people from other countries and cultures become part of Dutch society...personally, I like to believe that Amsterdam, the city with the most different nationalities living (mostly) peacefully together (yes, we're the true Melting Pot, not NY, hehe :) is living proof that being from some other area than the Western world is not an obstacle on the road towards a brighter, better future with even more delicious, mysterious and often spicy food to chose from, yummie :-P

Out of nowhere Winter has struck the best country in the world, -2 degrees Celsius this morning, and I finally had to switch from shirts&shorts to long pants and my serious jacket, not something I was looking forward to, but that's life, as long as we don't get a superharsh and long Winter-season like last year, I'll be fine...and even if we do, I'll most likely be fine too, hehe :))

At The Treehouse Yesterday Unedited shots of visitors at the 'ABC Treehouse' in Amsterdam yesterday. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. Yesterday I was at the 'ABC Treehouse' in the Voetboogstraat 11 again as the Artist in Residency for the 'MultiCulti' exhibition, together with the lovely Miss Monyart. The good folks of the Amsterdam Flickr Meeting came by and created a spontaneous Happy-Snapping orgy, there was so much camera equipment in the room that I could have opted for early retirement had I been able to sell it all on ebay, hahaha :D 
Thank you very much for visiting guys&girls, it was a pleasure to meet so many nice people in real life! Next week Saturday will be the FINAL DAY of the exhibition! If you have not been there yet, make sure to come that day, there'll be an open podium discussion about the current state of affairs in the best country in the world and how foreigners enrich/destroy the very fabric of our culture and society, don't miss it, hope to c u there, bring your Thinking-cap, lol :)))

Amsterdam Flower Power Slightly edited shots of flowers in the Westerpark in Amsterdam. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing besides some added contrast&saturation. Every morning I pass by these flowers, and every morning I promise myself to take a picture of them, but usually at this point of my morning journey, I have a coffee and cigarette in one hand and the bike's steering wheel in the other, and I'm too lazy to put everything aside, get out the cam, and shoot these beauties, but then, one morning last week, I figured they might not be there for that much longer, even though we're experiencing a lovely Indian Summer, it is mid October already, so I convinced myself to stop and finally take these shots...I hope you like them. These pictures are dedicated to Mirthe Duidam, the Mistress of wicked mini-worlds and Swan photography :)

Lately I've been using my Panasonic camera a lot more than my mobile phone, and to make up for that and get back to my roots, here's a puddle self reflection, the new Master class of wicked puddle play, a self portrait reflected in water, shot without any external assistance, wicked 2010 style baby...if you want to try this at home, turn on the timer of your mobile/cam, put it on the ground, run to the other side of the puddle, and wait for it :D

Today the new collection of the lovely Miss D and her 'Flamework' shop will be presented to the public, from 3-6PM in the Runstraat 28 in the Jordaan, in beautiful, sunny Amsterdam...come and join us for a drink and some quality time with cool, pretty people in the sunshine :) 
These photos were taken some weeks ago during the photoshoot, the Photographers were Attilio Brancaccio and the lovely Miss MonyArt, luckily they allowed me to stumble in front of their feet at the most inappropriate times, disturb them with the permanent cloud of smoke emitting from my egg head, fall over cables and lamps and enjoy watching the Pros at work, thanks guys, it was a pleasure :)

Radio Killed The Video Star! Slightly edited shots of the lovely Miss Monyart being interviewed for FunX Radio about the 'MultiCulti' exhibition at the 'ABC Treehouse' in Amsterdam. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing besides some added lightness and contrast. Last week the Artists participating in the 'MultiCulti' exhibition at the 'ABC Treehouse' were interviewed by the good folks of FunX Radio, in this shot you can see the lovely Monyart explaining her photos to the Radio host. The interviews will be aired today, not sure when exactly, but I'll post a link here as soon as I know the details...we were also interviewed on camera, for a local TV station, again, no details available yet, but I'll let you know when I find out more...have a relaxed Sunday :)

No editing. Yesterday, from 5 - 8'ish pm, we celebrated the opening of the 'MultiCulti' photo exhibition at the 'ABC Treehouse' and it was a great success, there were at least 100 visitors, there were TV cameras, Interviews, free booze, design food from our friends from ArchiChef and of course the friends&fans of the lovely Miss Monyart, Miss Melissa Scholten, Miss Patricia Ribas and myself...if you missed the grand opening, don't worry, the exhibition will continue until the end of this month, and every Saturday in November I will be at the Treehouse as the Artist in Residency, so if you want to hang out with me and the lovely Miss Monyart, come and visit Saturdays between 1 - 6 PM, hope to see you there :)

No editing besides some playing around with contrast and saturation and a bit of cropping, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. It's finally happening, today, from 5:00pm - 7:00pm, we'll celebrate the opening of the the 'MultiCulti' photo exhibition at the 'ABC Treehouse' in the Voetboogstraat 11, yay! There'll be free drinks and food (provided by our friends from ArchiChef :), free entry and a chance to meet&mingle with the Artists, Miss Monyart, Miss Melissa Scholten, Miss Patricia Ribas and of course this wicked Reflectah in person, hope to see you there :))
