AmsterSam @ Concerto One of my wicked reflection pictures is hanging in the 'Concerto' Recordstore on the Utrechtsestraat in Amsterdam, the manager Anton liked the photo of their shop window so much that I made a big print of it and gave it to him as a gift. When you are in the area, check it out, besides an original AmsterSam picture they also got a great selection of music, movies and more :)

The One Day Of Summer BBQ Yesterday I went to the Oosterpark for a BBQ with a group of lovely people to celebrate the one day of Dutch Summer we're having this year, and it was such a perfect, beautiful evening. We ate, we drank, we smoked and there was happiness and bliss all around, thank you so much guys, we have to do that again next year on that one special day where everything is just perfect and life is so easy-going and sweet :)

1000 Photos Grand Finale Shots of the '1000 Photos' Grand Finale in Amsterdam. Taken with a Sony HX200V. Last night I was at the Melkweg Galerie for the Grand Finale of the '1000 Photos Amsterdam' event, the 'Inside/Outside' exposition, that supports the charity project 'Young in Prison'. There we tons of lovely people, funky music, and of course plenty of beautiful photos that the audience was able to purchase for just 10 euros a piece. All proceeds go towards supporting young people in prison in various countries, and the founder of 'YiP' was there to personally show everybody his appreciation for their involvement. It was a great evening and I'm glad and happy I was part of it, thank you all for making this such a success...more pictures on my Facebook page :)

I biked to Monnickendam the other day and when I saw some cows doing their thing, I whipped out my camera and made a little wicked movie of them...gotta love the easy life in the Dutch countryside :)

More pictures on my Facebook page! 1000 Photos Part 4 Last night I was at the Melkweg Galerie for the 4th part of the '1000 Photos Amsterdam' event, the 'Inside/Outside' exposition, that supports the charity project 'Young in Prison', and as always, the place was packed with creative, cool and friendly people. Sophie Leferink, director of ('The One Minutes'), showed examples of moving pictures and invited everybody to submit their own work. Next week Thursday will be the Grand Finale of the expo and the donated photos will be sold that day, you should not miss your chance to pick up a unique piece of art for just 10 euros, all proceeds go to 'Young In Prison'.

AmsterSam Live @ Radio Patapoe Friday night I was invited to the show 'mY Indie Soul' on 'Radio Patapoe' in Amsterdam, and I had the honor and pleasure to witness a live performance by 'Katia'. The host of the show, Tiago Martins, also did an interview with me about my wicked reflection pictures, it was a great experience and we all had a lot of fun! Thank you for the awesome evening guys&girls, you rock
