Saturday 31/07/2010 The Round Trip Unedited shots of buildings and trees reflected in a puddle in Amsterdam. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. In the last months I've neglected my wicked reflections a bit in favor of shooting orange people on Queensday and during the 2010 FIFA World Cup...once all this excitement was over, a very dry period began, that caused an increase in the price for a Patatje (the traditional Dutch fried potatoes that are so delicious with some Mayo or Ketchup :) and a decrease in the size of the fries, less food for more money, an idea that goes against any principle the Dutch stand for! Needless to say it also dried up my wet spots, or at least so you'd think, because I managed to find me some tiny puddles anyway, yay :D Friday 30/07/2010 AlienS@m Unedited shot of myself looking like an Alien, reflected on the spare wheel of a car in Amsterdam. Taken with my C905 phone. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. Thank God it's Friday!!! This week has been horrible and I am extremely glad that it's over now...during all the misery I've experienced in the last days/weeks/months, I was vigorously working on setting the course towards a better, brighter future, taking steps I've been planning to take for years and years, but was too lazy to put into action, and now, it turned out, I am too late, missed some deadlines, didn't take some delays into account and didn't remember the inherent inactivity and lethargy most people in this lovely country will display if it's not their own well-being at stake (we even have a word for it, it's called 'Onverschilligheid', meaning literally 'I wouldn't pee on you if you were on fire', works really well for a lot of Dutch people)...sounds probably more dramatic than it is, I tend to overreact and take things too seriously and I can assure you that in the not too distant future I will be just fine and dandy again, like I used to be, probably even finer and dandier than I've been in a looong time :))) Thursday 29/07/2010 In Your Eye! Unedited shot of myself reflected on the sunglasses of Mr. M in Amsterdam. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. One of my favorite things about the Summer is that everybody is wearing sunglasses, allowing me to shoot some wicked self portraits in various situations. I think I have a nice little collection by now and you can be sure that as long as there's sunshine, there'll be more to follow, hehe. Have a nice day, take it easy :)) Wednesday 28/07/2010 BeamerS@m Unedited shot of myself reflected on a BMW in Amsterdam. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. As much as I don't like cars, I do enjoy making wicked reflection pictures of them. This poor BMW was heavily abused by me last weekend, first I shot some pictures and then a movie that I've submitted to the 'Life in a day' project, keep your fingers crossed that they'll use it! You can watch the film on my YouTube page :) Tuesday 27/07/2010 Princess Style Unedited shot of a Princess on a bike in Amsterdam. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. In Holland even the Royal family uses bikes, here you can see Princess Goudatje van Amsterdam on her steel horse, going for a ride through the downtown area of the best city in the world to present herself to her subjects and to share the love, she is a very sweet, caring Princess that spends most of her time considering how she can make our lives more beautiful by riding through the downtown area presenting herself to her subjects to share the love...a vicious (bi)cycle, but nobody has the heart to tell her, she just looks so pretty on that bike of hers, hahaha ;-D XXX Unedited shot of bikers in the street in Amsterdam. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. Biking is so much fun and it's good for you, I can not get it into my head that people would rather take the tram or the car than to bike through the narrow, beautiful, made-for-bikes streets of the best city in the world, but then again, I also can't understand why people would build weapons and try to kill each other with them, or why we would let half the world population live in poverty and hunger...I guess I am just a naive guy from the countryside who will never grow up to grasp the rules the grown-up world seems to be regulated by ;-) Water Fun Unedited shot of girls in a boat on a canal in Amsterdam. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. These ladies are smart, they've rented a boat and went for a nice, relaxing trip through the the canals, they brought food and drinks, ready for a perfect afternoon. This is something everybody should do if they are in the best city in the world, Amsterdam looks really different from the water and I can only recommend it, it's almost as much fun as experiencing it on a bike :) Monday 26/07/2010 F U Amsterdam! Unedited shot of tourists and their rental bikes in the street in Amsterdam. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. I think the tourists are tired of being blamed for their unskilled biking and have decided to strike back at us locals by showing their disdain through barely veiled insults printed on their clothing. The lady to the right has a message and she is not shy about spreading it...one word of warning though my dear tourist lady, you bike for 3 days a year, while you're here on vacation, we do this every day, so pushing you into a canal head-first and making it look like an 'accident' is something we practice already as wee little boys&girls, and now that we're grown-ups, we'll even manage to shoot a movie of it and upload it to YouTube before your friends even pulled you out of that nasty, toxic stuff that passes for water in our canals, hehehe ;-P Rough Rider Unedited shot of a lady on her bike in the street in Amsterdam. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. The Amsterdam girls can not be outbiked...I've tried many times to catch up or keep up with them and I miserably failed even though I've been biking almost daily since I'm 3 years old! I don't know if the Ministry of Biking puts little rocket-engines into their bikes or if they are some secret, genetically engineered super race that features leg muscles build out of titanium, but often I'll just hear a 'Swooosh', see a colored dot pass by at the speed of light, and hop off my bike at full speed in mid-ride again because I thought that I am actually standing still...keeps happening to me and I might as well stop telling you these fantastic lies about me falling over benches, being attacked by little people in suits, aggressive taxi driver and all that, hahaha ;-D Sk8boarding Is Not A Crime! Unedited shot of 2 Skaters with their boards in the street in Amsterdam. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. I think Amsterdam is the only place in the world where girl skaters are fully accepted and tolerated by their male counterparts, usually females with skateboards are often considered to be a 'Betty' and might not be taken serious, regardless of her actual skills on the board, not a very nice thing, but of course in the best city in the world, nobody would dare showing them anything but the deep respect and admiration they well deserve, even if it was just to celebrate the flavor and style (and good looks!) they add to the scenery around :) Sunday 25/07/2010 Beam Me Up! Unedited shots of buildings reflected on a BMW in Amsterdam. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. As you might know, I'm not a big fan of cars, I think they are one of the stoopidest ideas mankind ever had...you lock yourself up in a small metal box and burn fossilized Dinosaurs to get to the shop around the corner in double the time it would have taken you to hop on your bike, pick up your Groceries and return home in a safe, fun and environmentally-friendly way, that also makes you look cool...it's not like you didn't know or anything, haha ;-D I've shot a wicked reflection movie of this car as well and submitted it to 'Life in a day' project, keep your fingers crossed that they'll use it! You can watch the film on my YouTube page :) Saturday 24/07/2010 Spot The S@mster! Slightly edited shots of tourists at the Leidseplein, reflected in a puddle in Amsterdam. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing besides some added contrast&saturation, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. Remember when I said yesterday that I would go out and shoot puddle pictures?! Well, I lied, it turned out that I was waaay too lazy to even take the camera out of my bag when I biked downtown, instead I limited myself to some heavy chilling on a terrace by the water with delicious coffee and smokes, watching the tourists do their thing and the pretty girls going by on their bicycles, baking in the sunshine and enjoying the early stages of another wicked weekend in the best city in the world...I hope my betrayal does not upset you too much, and to make up for this unacceptable, scandalous behavior, here are reflection shots from earlier this month, tourists on the Leidsestraat discovering a Madman pointing his camera at wet spots, see how happy they are to have spotted the one and only wicked Reflectah? Have a wonderful weekend, take care but take it easy :))) Friday 23/07/2010 Miss Monyart Unedited shots of the lovely Miss Monyart back in Amsterdam after her vacation. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. The lovely Miss Monyart is back from her vacation and she is sporting a beautiful sun-tan plus a relaxed, happy attitude towards life, and I think it shows in this shot...let's hope that she'll post some beach pictures on her Flickr stream, yay! My weekend has started, it is a sunny, beautiful day and I intend to go out there and find some puddles, regardless of the record heat this year and the fact that it has rained only once or twice in the last weeks...that's just how wicked I am, hahaha. Thank God it's Friday!!! Thursday 22/07/2010 Miss Monyart Unedited shots of the lovely Miss Monyart back in Amsterdam after her vacation. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. The lovely Miss Monyart is back from her vacation and she looks really refreshed, relaxed and happy, so I shot her...with a camera of course, I wouldn't want to ruin her Summer, haha. In the background you can still see the flags I've been waving around so much in the last weeks during the 2010 FIFA World Cup, I was a bit sad to take them down and store them away for the next Orange event...on the other side, I'm glad it's over, it's been 4 challenging, tiring weeks and now I could really use a vacation like the one Miss M had, thank you very much :) Wednesday 21/07/2010 The ClusterF**k Slightly edited mobile phone cam shot of Me&Mobie, reflected on the logo of a car in Amsterdam. Taken with my C905 phone. No editing besides some added contrast&saturation, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. A while ago I mentioned that I am currently facing some challenges in my life that I'd rather not have to deal with and many of you sent me their best wishes and good vibes to overcome these hard times, and for a moment it looked as if it helped, but then things got worse, much worse and I had some days where I really started doubting myself and my sanity, until I realized that it's not me, it's them, trying to ClusterF**k me and my infantile mind! The System, the Rulers, the Masters, the Men in Black, whatever you call them, it was them messing me around like some little hand puppet and all I could do was watch and learn, unable to defend myself, paralyzed by a barrage of beatings life dealt me, wondering why, and trying to figure out how to move on to happier days, and I think I found a way, but it's a bit like walking through complete darkness with just a candle, burning your fingers while illuminating only the very nearest of your surrounding, leaving you in doubt if the next step might take you tumbling down into an endless black abyss, never to be seen again...oh my, sorry, I got carried away, hahaha :D To sum it up: Life threw me some rocks and I didn't duck on time, my bad, won't happen again...big effing deal S@m, there are people with real problems out there, get over it, suck it up, bike it off, do whatever it takes and never forget, everything's gonna be alright...the same goes for all of you as well of course :) Tuesday 20/07/2010 S1W Slightly edited mobile phone cam shot of Me&Mobie, reflected on the sunglassed of the head of my Security detail in Amsterdam. Taken with my C905 phone. No editing besides some added contrast&saturation, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. As you might remember, I've been attacked by a Madman and a freaked out Taxi driver while I was peacefully biking through the best city in the world some time ago and as a consequence, I will not leave the house anymore without my trustworthy Security people, not that I'm a coward but I don't want to ruin my shutter finger by punching the nose of some dimwitted MoFo into his tiny brain with a swift, almost undetectable movement (my specialty, haha ;)) that would surely get me in trouble with the law if it wasn't applied so skillfully that even to close bystanders only the faintest rush of air and a body falling to the ground unconsciously prove that anything has ever happened at all...so yeah, now I let my guys sort these things out, I need to protect my valuable assets so that I can continue to entertain you with these wicked figments of my imagination, hahaha ;-P Monday 19/07/2010 The Lion Is Tired Slightly edited mobile phone cam shot of Me&Mobie, reflected on the logo of a Peugeot in Amsterdam. Taken with my C905 phone. No editing besides some added contrast&saturation, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. I'm reeeeeally tired...the World Cup has taken its toll together with some recent events that I will elaborate on later, but I can tell you, as much fun as it was to spend 4 weeks running around drunken in my orange gear with the hundreds of thousands of other Dutch supporters, I am very glad that it's over and the next important Championship is 2 years away so that I can get some peace and rest :) Sunday 18/07/2010 In The Park Unedited shots of people in the Vondelpark in Amsterdam. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. Last weekend I went to the Vondelpark to chill out with my buddy Mr.H and as always there were plenty of pretty people hanging out, enjoying the sunshine and a lovely, relaxed afternoon, confirming my theory that life can be easy and good if you let it. If you ever come to the best city in the world, make sure to check out our parks, they are some of the best places to hang out in Amsterdam, don't miss watching the locals in their natural habitat, haha...have a relaxed Sunday, take care but take it easy :)) Park Movie Of course I've made a movie of my day in the park as well, watch it on my YouTube page :) Saturday 17/07/2010 Shopping Unedited shot of a lady with shopping bags, reflected in a puddle on the Spuiplein in Amsterdam. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. While I was taking my puddle pictures I noticed this lady trying to hide from the cam by going blurry on me, but I saw you and I saw your expensive looking shopping bag...all I have to say about that is 'It's OK girl" because we men understand your urge to go out there and blow your hard earned $$$ on things that you don't need, we do the same, but our money-wasters are usually rather gadgets than clothes or shoes, all we really need is 2 pairs of pants and a shirt on our backs, simple, yet effective, lucky us :)) WTF?! Unedited shot of a little girl, reflected in a puddle on the Spuiplein in Amsterdam. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. You can tell by the little girls face that she is going through the typical 'AmsterS@m' experience, she sees a man sitting next to a puddle but she can't figure out why and what he's doing so she goes through all the variety of emotions a person can muster in such a situation, shock, anger, surprise and finally acceptance that sometimes things are a bit wicked in the best city in the world, but not necessarily bad, there's often more than meets the eye to certain situations...I mean I am so much more than just a Madman hunching over wet spots, I'm also really good at riding a bicycle...well, most of the time, haha ;-P Help Unedited shot of a people and a bike, reflected in a puddle on the Spuiplein in Amsterdam. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. Being a biker means having to deal with issues that often require tools and kits to fix when you're on the road somewhere and no repair shop is around, so it's best to be prepared and pack proper equipment, I have for example at all times a set to glue shut a hole in my wheels and a Leatherman for screwing, cutting, grinding and coffee making that would leave me feeling naked if I ever forgot it at home, and an assistant on stand-by that follows me on foot wherever I go, to ensure I don't have to face situations by myself that clearly need the physical input of 2 persons. Of course it's better not to have any bike problems, but yeah, sh*t happens, and that's what assistants are for :) Puddle Movie I've made a wicked reflection movie of this puddle, check it out on my YouTube page :) Friday 16/07/2010 Team Holland Unedited mobile phone cam shots of Dutch Football supporters Tuesday afternoon in Amsterdam. Taken with my C905 mobile phone. Tuesday the Dutch team came to Amsterdam for a boat tour through the best city the world, to give the orange fans an opportunity to meet their heroes of the 2010 FIFA World Cup in the flesh. This is only the second time they've ever done this, the first time was in 1988, when Holland won the European Championship and came home to a country that was overjoyed and stunned by the unexpected success of the boys :) Unfortunately, I had to work that day and missed this historical event, I will never forgive myself for that, but at least I managed to snap some shots of those who were lucky enough to witness this special occasion going home afterwards...sad, isn't it?! But yeah, that's life, at least I was there for the grand final last Sunday on the Museumplein with 120 000 other fans, and I am assuming that we'll win the Euro 2012 and have another proper celebration in 2 years, so no need for tears, it's gonna be alright, yay ;-P Team Holland Movies I've also made some movies of the fans going home, watch them on my YouTube page :) 1988 vs 2010 The people went nuts when the dutch team went on their boat tours in 1988 as well as last Tuesday, check out these videos of the orange crowd :) 1988 2010 Thursday 15/07/2010 The Upskirt Biker Unedited shot of a biker, reflected in a puddle in Amsterdam. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. Bikers come in all colors, sizes and flavors and I want to show this with a simple experiment, 3 photos taken in the same puddle at the same spot with roughly the same angle...this is the third and last shot, it features the typical Amsterdam girl biking around unaware of the fact that the puddle season has begun and there is a wicked Reflectah on the run...of course I don't mean to shoot anybodies private parts, I think my pictures are wicked enough as it is, haha ;-D Wednesday 14/07/2010 The Fashion Contest Unedited shot of a biker, reflected in a puddle in Amsterdam. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. Bikers come in all colors, sizes and flavors and I want to show this with a simple experiment, 3 photos taken in the same puddle at the same spot with roughly the same angle...this is the second shot, it shows the typical 'I don't give a *beep* how stoopid I look on my miniature bike, it gets me where I need to be' biker who is smarter than he looks, you can fold those babies up and take them on the tram or train...not that I would ever do that, but yeah :) Tuesday 13/07/2010 Mi Vida Loca Unedited shot of a biker, reflected in a puddle in Amsterdam. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. Bikers come in all colors, sizes and flavors and I want to show this with a simple experiment, 3 photos taken in the same puddle at the same spot with roughly the same angle...this is the first shot, it shows the cool city Cruiser on his Johnny Loco bike (I think) with a trendy, yet functional basket in front of the bike, prepared for transportation of large quantities of festive refreshments to the park or the groceries to the fridge...it's all good Dude :) Vida Loca Movie I've made a movie of this puddle (surprise, surprise ;), check it out on my YouTube page :) Monday 12/07/2010 Team Holland Unedited shots of Dutch Football supporters Sunday in Amsterdam. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. Yesterday the Dutch team lost 1:0 against Spain in the final match of the 2010 FIFA World Cup... it seemed for a while as if the Dutch team, supported by all the orange people, would beat Spain, but thanks to an incorrect offside decision, Spain won and we all went home sad...see you in the Euro 2012 Spain, haha...thank you all for your marvelous support throughout the tournament, its been 4 fun weeks, lets do that again soon :) Team Holland Movies I've also made tons of movies of the final match in Amsterdam, watch them on my YouTube page :) Sunday 11/07/2010 V For Victory Slightly edited shots of myself reflected on cars in Amsterdam. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8 and my C905 phone. No editing besides some added contrast&saturation, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. The big day is here, today the Dutch team is meeting Spain in the final match of the 2010 FIFA World Cup and as much as all the Dutch supporters want to see our boys win, there is this overall vibe that it's gonna be very tough to beat those Spanish guys, they run so fast and there are so many of them! But yeah, we'll do our best and see how that works out, keep your fingers crossed, wear something Orange and wish us good luck, we'll need it! One thing's for sure, we're gonna have a wicked, wild giant outdoor party, no matter what's going to happen, there are at least 200 000 people expected to show up at the Museumplein tonight for the public viewing, if I dare, I'll go there as well :D Saturday 10/07/2010 Team Holland Unedited shots of Dutch Football supporters Tuesday night in Amsterdam, celebrating the victory over Uruguay. Taken with my C905 mobile phone and my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing (some have some added contrast or saturation!), no magic tricks, no Photoshop. Tuesday the Dutch team beat Uruguay in the 2010 FIFA World Cup and is now going to play against Spain in the final match next Sunday, yay :D I've posted tons of pictures and movies of the orange fans in the last weeks and you seemed to like them, so here are some more of the party after the latest victory, enjoy :) Team Holland Movie I've also made a movie of the people dancing in the street after the victory, shot with my C905 mobile in the dark, so not the best quality, but watch it anyway on my YouTube page :) Friday 09/07/2010 Milky Memories Unedited shot of a lady on the Leidsestraat in Amsterdam, reflected in a puddle. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. I am not sure why there are still puddles in the best city in the world, it did not rain for weeks now and by all laws of nature, I should not be able to find any wet spots at all, but there it is, a bit milky, but usable...maybe some city cow had an accident and spilled some of her precious liquid, or somebody dropped his pack of Coke into a regular puddle or something...who cares, as long as it's wet, it's good...have a wicked Friday :) Like Father Like Son Unedited shot of a dad and his orange-clad son on the Leidsestraat in Amsterdam, reflected in a puddle. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. It looks a bit as if the father is explaining the offside rule to his kid, who is all prepared for the next match with his orange shirt and all...I hope that the dad has sufficient teaching skills, this boy could be the next Wesley Sneijder or Johan Cruyff, so it's important to instill a sense of responsibility and seriousness in his young heart and mind, in case he needs to represent this country in some future World Cup battle...you go kid, we're counting on you :) You Are Here! Unedited shot of tourists on the Leidsestraat in Amsterdam, reflected in a puddle. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. That's correct, you are right here, in the puddle of the wicked Reflectah AmsterS@m and you're not getting out anymore, map or no map, unless you pay me a handsome ransom, then I might consider draining the puddle and letting you return to your own country to continue with your largely uneventful life...you're so gonna wish back for these wicked wild puddle days once you're old and wrinkly and everything that has happened before your 50th birthday seems like it was exciting, shiny and extraordinary...or not...sorry, I'm a bit silly today from all the excitement, alcohol consume and sleep deprivation in the last week :) The Burka Biker Unedited shot of a biker on the Leidsestraat in Amsterdam, reflected in a puddle. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. I know that the lady in the picture is not really wearing a Burka, it's simply a headscarf, but that would not sound as good in the title, so I chose to discriminate against her by consciously mislabeling her head gear...I must still be drunk from watching all those football matches or something, I usually try not to categorize people to avoid judging a book by its cover :) Milky Memories Movie I've also made a wicked movie of this milky puddle reflection, view it on my YouTube page :) Team Holland Movies Just can't get enough of my movies featuring the celebrations in Amsterdam of the victories of the Dutch football team in the FIFA World Cup?! Lucky you, I've just posted another batch from last Tuesday, when the Orange team, backed up by the 40 000 best supporters in the world gathered for a public viewing on the Museumplein, beat Uruguay :) Thursday 08/07/2010 To The Final! Unedited shots of Dutch Football supporters Tuesday night in Amsterdam, celebrating the victory over Uruguay. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. Tuesday the Dutch team beat Uruguay in the 2010 FIFA World Cup and is now going to play in the final match next Sunday, yay. After the game all the orange people ran through the city center all drunk and happy, looking for food, more beer and girls :))) To The Final Movies I've also made tons of movies of the event throughout Amsterdam, watch them on my YouTube page :) Tuesday 06/07/2010 S@m The Orange Man Slightly edited mobile phone cam shot of Me&Mobie, reflected in a little mirror on the edge of my monitor in my cube at work in an office building in Amsterdam. Taken with my C905 phone. No editing besides some added contrast&saturation, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. It's D-Day, today Holland is going to play against Uruguay in the Semi-finals of the 2010 FIFA World Cup and the Dutch supporters are not just looking forward to this important match, but it seems that large parts of the population would like to see a grand finale against the German team next Sunday that, in a perfect world, we'd win of course, but it's the German team after all, and you know what they say "Soccer is a game for 22 people that run around, play the ball, and one referee who makes a slew of mistakes, and in the end Germany always wins." Gary Lineker. Biking 4 Holland Unedited shot of a biker passing by the Amstel Hotel in Amsterdam, reflected in a puddle. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. Monday 05/07/2010 Infundibulum Unedited shot of bikers passing the Amstel Hotel in Amsterdam, reflected in a puddle. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. "An infundibulum (Latin for funnel; plural, infundibula) is a funnel-shape cavity or organ..." Wikipedia. That's it...that's the best I could come up with for a title, after drinking (too much, too fast, not good when it's 30+ degrees :) and celebrating the success of the Dutch team in the 2010 FIFA World Cup with all the other funky orange supporters in the best city in the world last weekend, but thank you for stopping by anyway, appreciate it :) Infundibulum Movie I've also made a wicked movie of this puddle reflection, view it on my YouTube page :) Sunday 04/07/2010 Bye Bye Brazil :D Unedited shots of Dutch Football supporters last Friday in Amsterdam, celebrating the victory over Brazil. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. Friday the Dutch team achieved the impossible and kicked Brazil(!!!) out of the 2010 FIFA World Cup, oh my f*****g God!!!! Oh my f*****g God!!!! Wow!!! It was a glorious, wicked day here in the best city in the world and even though I was majorly drunk, I managed to shoot some pictures of the orange madness that covered Amsterdam and the rest of the Netherlands :)) I've said it already many times, we have the best supporters in the world and it seems that this time we might actually stand a chance of taking the cup home...oh man, that would be so sweet...keep your fingers crossed and have a cold drink to celebrate our latest Victory with us, thank you :D Bye Bye Brazil Movies I've also made some movies of the celebrations before and after the game in Amsterdam, watch them on my YouTube page :) Happy 4th Of July Today is the 4th of July, have a happy, independant and peaceful day :) Image 'borrowed' from http://www.abdek.com! Friday 02/07/2010 S@m The King Of Sorrow Slightly edited mobile phone cam shot of Me&Mobie, reflected on the side window of a car in Amsterdam. Taken with my C905 phone. No editing besides some added contrast&saturation, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. Today is the big day, Holland is going to play against Brazil in the FIFA World Cup and all the orange supporters are excited, scared and overjoyed (and of course dressed in our favorite color :), I hope that it's going to be a beautiful game, and that we're going to win so that we can proceed to the next round of the tournament, yay ;-D Personally, I feel like the King of Sorrow this week/month/year, there are some wicked, stoopid things going on in my life that I wish I didn't have to endure, but oh well, it's gonna be alright :)) Thursday 01/07/2010 S@m The Victorious Winner Slightly edited mobile phone cam shot of Me&Mobie, reflected on the logo of a Volkswagen in Amsterdam. Taken with my C905 phone. No editing besides some added contrast&saturation, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. Tomorrow the Dutch team is going to play against Brazil in the FIFA World Cup and I can tell you, even though we have the best supporters in the world, it's going to be a very thrilling, difficult and exciting match, that we'll hopefully win against all odds, so that the Orange Madness can continue for another couple of weeks...wish us luck, we totally deserve it :) Just Lyke Compton I woke up this morning with a line from this old school song by DJ Quik in my head, and luckily we're living in the 21st century, so I went to Youtube and listened to it over and over again :) Suicide Girls vs iPhone 4 The world famous Suicide Girls have tested the new iPhone 4 in a very NSFW way, if you are a guy (or girl) who likes to see naked women playing with the latest Hightech gadgets, click this link (at your own risk, like I said, very NSFW!) :) Image 'borrowed' from http://suicidegirls.com!
