Tuesday 31/08/2010 AmsterS@m The Stonehead Unedited mobile phone cam shot of myself shot with the timer of my mobile, reflected in a puddle in Amsterdam. Taken with my C905 mobile phone. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. A while ago I've posted my first self-shot puddle self portraits, a new style I've developed this year that, as far as I can tell, has not been challenged or copied by anybody else, making me by default the wickedest Reflectah out there, of course only until one day some whiz kid will come and outwicked me, making my reflection shots look boring and old, while his/her style will be refreshing to look at, easy on the eyes and will sell like hot buns at the bakery, leaving me behind in the dust, sitting by some dried up puddle, the only reflective surfaces around my wide, teary eyes that look on in shock&horror as that little spoiled brat takes over the World Domination Plan that I've so carefully prepared, and becomes the new ruler of all the puddles on this planet...unless I drown him/her in them first, hahahaha :D AmsterSam Movie Here's a world premiere, my first ever self-filmed AmsterS@m self reflection movie! Monday 30/08/2010 The AmsterS@m World Domination Plan Unedited shot of myself reflected on the side window of a car in Amsterdam. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. I've mentioned it already several times, there is an 'AmsterSam World Domination Plan' in full effect, in case you've missed it, here is an overview of the important phases that have been implemented already and that will hopefully pave the road to a glorious, peaceful future that shall be called 'The Age Of AmsterSam' who, by the way, shall henceforth be known as a stern, yet caring, possibly even loving leader who will lavishly spoil his subjects with wicked puddles at their leisure and convenience, mandatory utter destruction of any car-like structures and a free bike for everybody! Taken with my C905 mobile phone. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. Yesterday I went downtown to shoot some puddles and eventually the memory card of my 'real cam' was full, so I pulled out my good old C905 mobile and shot the TV screen in true Old School AmsterS@m style, which not only resulted in some fine pictures, but it also reminded me where I come from and how this whole 'Wicked Reflectah' thing started in 2006...sometimes I forget the past, which, going by popular opinion, will force me to repeat it, probably not a bad thing in itself, those were good times that I fondly remember...in this series you can actually see the TV transform into a bubblecious mishmash mess, I hope I didn't break it with my wicked puddle play, I doubt that my insurance would cover such a 'work accident', haha ;-D Saturday 28/08/2010 Bye Bye Birdies! Unedited shots of birds eating whole trees alive in Amsterdam to prepare for their travel to warmer places for the Winter. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. Every year when the birds leave the best city in the world for their Winter vacation, I'm a bit sad, because this is a clear indicator that the Summer is almost over and the cold Seasons will start again soon...the good thing about this is of course that it also means that it'll be Spring soon and I can tell you, I am already majorly looking forward to it. Am I living in the future? Yeah, sure! Does it feel good? Of course, because if you don't like what you have at the moment, you can always think ahead and dream of the not too distant future, that will surely be bright, colorful and awesome...have a wicked weekend, enjoy the sunshine while it lasts :))) Bye Bye Birdies Movies I've made some movies of the birdies eating the trees too, watch them on my YouTube page! Friday 27/08/2010 The Puddle Ghost People Unedited shots of people on the Dam, reflected in a puddle in Amsterdam. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. These people seem to evaporate in front of my cameras eye, not cool and not acceptable, I demand that whoever walks into the range of my reflections puts on his/her bravest face and a nice smile, we have to represent in front of thousands of watchers here and giving me this pale shadow of a reflection of yourself simply does not work for me...maybe I should consider hiring actors to hang around my wet spots so that I can shoot them...no, wait, that came out all wrong, hahaha. Thank God it's Friday! Strangely enough, I am working today, again, weird... :D Thursday 26/08/2010 The Fat Bastard Unedited shots of tourists in/on bikes on the Dam square in Amsterdam, reflected in a puddle. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. I sincerely apologize for the title of today's pictures, I would never call anybody a Fat Bastard (unless they are, haha...nah, just kidding ;)) but the way this guy sits in the bike taxi, giving me the evil eye, I could not resist, sorry! At first I wanted to drag him from his comfy seat and drown him in the puddle but then I remembered that I am a peaceful, nice guy who would not do anything like this outside the boundaries of his wicked imagination, not even if you push me, that's just how I roll...have a nice day, the weekend is neeeeear :D Wednesday 25/08/2010 On The Dam Unedited shots of bikers on the Dam square, reflected in a puddle in Amsterdam. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. I don't know if I'm stoopid of if modern digital cameras are so advanced and beyond human comprehension, but I just don't get this freakin' cam I'm using...even though I've been shooting with it extensively for almost a year now, to ensure high quality images instead of the somewhat whimsical performance of my phone cams, nearly replacing my trustworthy, simple mobile phones, the S700i and my C905 that I'm so used to, and that I can control and manipulate in exactly the ways I like, I still don't know which buttons to push, what wheels to turn and how to make that darn thing do what I want. Luckily for me, the results often enough still look pretty presentable so that I don't have to return to low-quality phone shots for all my wicked puddle needs, phew :) Dam Movie I've made a wicked reflection movie of this puddle too, check it out on my YouTube page! Tuesday 24/08/2010 ABC Unedited shots of the ABC book store, reflected in a puddle in Amsterdam. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. The ABC in Amsterdam is my favorite book store in the world. I just love browsing around their giant selection of really good books, and every time I leave with a bag full of new reading material, I'm so excited that I almost can't wait to get home, hole up in bed with food, chocolate, chips, smokes and everything else you need for a proper read, and open the virgin pages of a new brain adventure that I can repeat as often as I want, wherever I want, whenever I want, and it only cost me a couple of euros. It's hard to believe that some people never read books, they're missing out on such a beautiful opportunity to directly connect into the brain of another human being and to encounter their most inner thoughts and ideas, because that's what a book does...a bit like an analogue offline website, if that helps making reading more attractive to you wicked young know-it-all Interwebs bastards that grew up with a mouse attached to their sticky little hands, haha ;-D ABC Movie I've made a wicked reflection movie of this puddle too, check it out on my YouTube page! Monday 23/08/2010 A Fresh Start Lately I've bored you with tons of stories of the misery I've encountered this year, bike accidents, attacks by mad people and giant taxi drivers, stoopid mishaps at work and so many other shitty, awkward situations that I saw myself forced to hire an entire Security detail, the S1W (which, by the way, stands for 'Security of the First World' and is a secrete reference to the bodyguards of Public Enemy, one of the most important HipHop groups ever to emerge from the Ghettos of the good old U S of A!) to safeguard me while biking through the best city in the world looking for that perfect puddle...but I didn't give up or loose hope, I knew that even the suckiest of times can only last so long and as we all know (and especially me, being a wicked Reflectah and all :), after the rain comes the sun again and that's what my life feels like at the moment, things that were working against me are now swinging my way, and even though there's still a rough patch ahead, it looks like the rest of this year will be much better than the first half...keep your fingers crossed, thank you :)) Fresh Start Movie I've also shot a wicked reflection movie of this puddle, watch it out on my YouTube page! Sunday 22/08/2010 SAIL 2010 Unedited shots of people at the 'SAIL' 2010 in Amsterdam. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. The 'SAIL' 2010 is in the best city in the world again and there are Pirate ships everywhere...as we all know, women dig Pirates, so I was not too surprised to see the sides of the canals lined by girls trying to get themselves kidnapped by anybody with a beard and an eye-patch. I don't have an eye-patch, but my Goatee attracted several females that tried hanging on to the back of my bike while I hastily retreated from this shocking scene, biking as fast as the wind to my own little, mostly Pirate-free house to recover from this working-weekend...I hope you had a great time and that you've been kidnapped by nice Pirates, not the nasty kind, haha :D SAIL 2010 Movie I've shot a movie of the girls trying to get caught by one of those ruthless Marauders of the seas as well, check it out on my YouTube channel, thank you! Saturday 21/08/2010 AmsterS@m - Blue In The Face Unedited (as far as I remember) shot of myself reflected on the window of a shop in Amsterdam. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. Yesterday, despite the fact that it was a Friday, my day off, I had to work, due to certain sucky circumstances, and I can tell you, it wasn't so easy to crawl out of bed in the morning, bike all the way to work and slave away like a Moron, but I did it, and as a reward, I get to go back today and do it again, yay! So instead of my usual 3 day weekend, I'm getting one day off this week, Sunday, and then I'll have to work again next Monday, pheeew! But I guess not having worked a single Friday yet this year more than makes up for it and I'm sure I'll be fine...I think I can, I think I can, I think I can, chooochooo, hahaha ;-D During the course of this special day I'll try to smoke as many ciggies as you can see in the shop window, wish me luck! You go and have yourself a nice weekend now, while I'll keep the economy going all by myself...it's a dirty job but somebody has to do it :)) Friday 20/08/2010 AmsterS@m The Bean Boy Unedited shot of myself reflected on the window of the 'Fior di Gelato' shop in Amsterdam. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. Now that it's Summer and the weather is acting accordingly most of the time, it is crucial to have a proper supplier of ice cream. I am lucky enough to personally know the crew of the best ice cream makers in Amsterdam and probably the rest of the country, the good people of the 'Fior di Gelato' shop in the Nieuwe Spiegelstraat, who never hesitate to sweeten my life with another slab of their finest, hand-made ice or one of their delicious coffee variations. It helps that the shop is surrounded by art galleries and millions of little cute shops, and if you walk a couple hundred meters, you're at the Rijksmuseum. When you're around and you need a quick, good fix, make sure to pay 'Fior di Gelato' a visit, it's worth it, yummie :-P Thursday 19/08/2010 A Nice Cup Of AmsterS@m Slightly edited shot of myself reflected in a mirror and on a coffee cup inside the Flamework shop in Amsterdam. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing besides some fiddling with the contrast...I think, I don't remember, sorry...no magic tricks, no Photoshop. Sometimes I think I'm really full of myself but then I remember that I've just had a nice cup of AmsterS@m and that I actually am...full of myself, that is. I wonder what I'd taste like if I was a drink, hopefully delicious and fruity, just like in real life, haha. Anyway, you don't have to read this, it's mostly BS anyway, just look at the picture and think to yourself 'Mmmmhhhh, if only I've also had a nice cup of AmsterS@m, my life could be so much better' and maybe it'll become true one day...as you can see, I've lost all control over my verbal output, clearly I am too excited about the upcoming weekend that starts tonight for me and that I fully intend to waste away with as little activity as humanly possible, wish me luck :) Wednesday 18/08/2010 Icarus Biker Unedited shot of a guy on a bike, reflected in a puddle in Amsterdam. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. This guy (or is it a girl?!) is definitely biking to close to the sun! Somebody should warm him that he's close to staging a 2010 version of the infamous Icarus and we all know how that story ended. Of course I could have shouted some warning to him while taking this picture, but I was too focused on shooting the guy to save his life, sorry dude, hehe. Almost weekend now, hang in there!! Tuesday 17/08/2010 Ghost Biker Unedited shot of a guy on a bike, reflected in a puddle in Amsterdam. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. This guy seems to evaporate while he's biking through my puddle. If he goes on like this, there won't be much left of him and that would be a shame because for all we know he might a very nice, smart guy who might actually find a cure for cancer in the future, if only he'll make it alive out of this wicked reflection...and my vivid imagination, haha. It's Tuesday, the weekend is just around the corner now, yay :D Monday 16/08/2010 Bag Lady Biker Unedited shot of a lady on a bike, reflected in a puddle in Amsterdam. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. It's Monday again and another week starts, but as usual, it's just going to rush by, propelling us towards the next weekend that seems to come closer at lightning speed, inevitable in its approaching beauty and eternal offering of several days of rest, relaxation and fun things...I know, it might not feel that way yet, but since you're awake and hopefully inserting coffee into your body, you've got the worst part of the week already behind you, getting out of bed on a Monday morning...now get out there and make it a beautiful day, the world depends on you :) Bag Lady Movie I liked this puddle, so as an exception, I've made a movie of it too, check it out on my YouTube page :) Sunday 15/08/2010 Sunday Is Churchday Unedited shots of the Mozes en Aäron church reflected in a puddle in Amsterdam. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. The Mozes en Aäron church is one the buildings that look much better in a puddle than in real life. If you ever walk by, you'll know what I mean, it is a nice building but not that impressive. Luckily for the church, I discovered that it looks much nicer when its wickedly reflected...have a relaxed Sunday :) Churchday Movie I've also made a wicked movie of the church, check it out on my YouTube channel! Saturday 14/08/2010 The Rose That Grew From Concrete Unedited shots of sunflowers reflected in a puddle in Amsterdam. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. I still miss 2Pac almost every day...I totally love his music, and as happy as I am that he was a very productive guy and has released more albums after his death than most other musicians do in their lifetime, it makes me very sad to think that such a talented, inspiring and positive person did not get the chance to enrich more lives, to have more time to spread his message and leave an even larger, everlasting footprint on the world of acting, HipHop, music in general, and life at large... I'm pouring out a little liquor for you Homeboy, you're gone but not forgotten...and oh yeah, Mr.Shakur, if you read this, please come back, right now would be a good time for that long anticipated comeback ;-)) Image 'borrowed' from http://www.examiner.com! "Sittin in my car, watch the stars and smoke I came a long way and still I got so far to go" 2Pac ('Krazy') Concrete Rose Movie I've also mad a wicked movie of the sunflowers, check it out on my YouTube channel! Friday 13/08/2010 The Gay After Unedited shots of flags and balloons left over from the 'Gay Pride' Parties, reflected in a puddle in Amsterdam. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. Now that the 2010 Amsterdam 'Gay Pride' is over, the regular life is back in the best city in the world, but the little flags and balloons are still all over town, adding a nice dash of color to the view. I am already looking forward to next year, when we'll hopefully have a 'Straight Pride' together with and in full support of the 'Gay Pride', to show that we're all good people that deserve to shag their brains out for one long, lovely weekend while floating through the canals of Sin City :) In these shots you can see the old folks returning to the big city, each year, for the duration of the 'Gay Pride', we bus the elderly, the weak and the young ones to a safe location outside of Amsterdam, to prevent them from seeing the unspeakable things going on during that luscious, lusty week...or at least we should consider doing so, we might save some souls by implementing this idea, hahaha ;-D Big Wet Naked Butt Unedited shot of people at the Rembrandtplein in Amsterdam, reflected in a puddle. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. Sometimes I find a big, wet, naked butt in my puddle...what's a wicked Reflectah to do but shoot it? Not shoot it and instead sing the infamous hit by Sir Mix-a-lot to it of course! And it goes a little something like this: "I like big butts and I can not lie You other brothers can't deny That when a girl walks in with an itty bitty waist And a round thing in your face You get sprung, wanna pull out your tough 'Cause you notice that butt was stuffed Deep in the jeans she's wearing I'm hooked and I can't stop staring..." And now everybody! Hahaha :D Friday The 13th Be a bit careful today, it is Friday the 13th :)) Thursday 12/08/2010 Vague Unedited shot of people at the Rembrandtplein in Amsterdam, reflected in a puddle. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. I like the words 'Vague' and 'Mauve' even though I don't necessarily agree with what they represent...language is a funny thing, it can be useful, uplifting and inspiring, but it can also be threatening, intimidating and discouraging, makes you wonder who invented this stuff. The negativity is so ingrained and interwoven with everything else that I sometimes, just for fun, try to avoid using any negative words or expressions for some time, so instead of saying "This color sucks", I'd say "I prefer that color", instead of saying 'Yes, those pants make your ass look fat', I'd say "Those pants nicely accentuate your slim legs/feet/hipbones/whatever"...see what's happening there?! A smack in the face gets transformed into a soft smooch on the cheek, the message is the same but the way it's communicated is very different. It's also an easy way to keep yourself in a positive, constructive mood, it's much more fun than to go the easy way and bitch and complain while there is no real reason for it, like many people do, forgetting all the good things, focusing on tiny fractions of details instead and getting all frustrated about them. The simple fact that you are reading this in a sheltered location with electricity, an Internet connection and possibly hot coffee should make you realize how good your life is :) Wednesday 11/08/2010 Broken Unedited shot of people at the Rembrandtplein in Amsterdam, reflected in a puddle. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. This puddle is dirty and the fuzz floating in it looks a bit as if this picture is broken...much like I've often felt in the last months, but now things really seem to get back to normal and that's good because at the moment boring, routine and normal are my favorite words, it's exactly what I need after all the excitement, accidents and adventures I've had to endure already in 2010...and now it's already Wednesday and the weekend is knocking softly on my door, reminding me that I just have to wake up 1 more time before I'm off again for 3 magical, sunshine-filled, happy days in the best city in the world, hahaha, yay :-D Tuesday 10/08/2010 Future Beauties Unedited shot of people at the Rembrandtplein in Amsterdam, reflected in a puddle. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. Do you see those 2 girls to the right? In a couple of years they'll be 2 of those pretty, long-legged women that you always see riding their bikes all over the best city in the world, making us guys crash our own rides into trees and parked cars, while trying to turn our heads by 360 degrees, Exorcist-style, to not miss one exquisite detail of their lovely appearances. It's not really fair when you come to think about it, men build those bikes they use to make us lose our minds, and we should definitely get more out of this then a couple of bruises and broken bones, hahaha. Sorry, I don't know what's wrong with me to put stuff like this on the Interwebs, I must have hurt my head in my last bike accident, lol :-P Monday 09/08/2010 Positive Vibrations Slightly edited shot of people at the Rembrandtplein in Amsterdam, reflected in a puddle. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing besides some added darkness, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. So, it's Monday again, it's early, you really didn't want to get out of bed and you wish it was weekend again...well, guess what, it almost is! Having managed to wake up, crawl out of your warm sheets, make the first coffee/tea/whiskey of the day, have a hot/cold/lukewarm shower and turn on your Interwebs means that you have the worst part behind you, from here on it's just a quick countdown until the next Friday, hours and days rushing by, barely leaving a mark on your consciousness because you're focused on the next fun-filled period that you can spend with your friends and family, enjoying life and the many pleasures it offers...sounds good, doesn't it? Have a nice, relaxed day, keep thinking 'Almost weekend' and before you know it, it's time to say again 'Thank God it's Friday!' :-D Positive Vibration Movie Watch the wicked movie I've made of this puddle on my YouTube channel! Sunday 08/08/2010 People Of Amsterdam Unedited shots of people at the Rembrandtplein in Amsterdam, reflected in a puddle. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. Yesterday we hosted the canal parade of the 'Gay Pride' in Amsterdam and it rained all day long, ruining the party for everybody except for those that were already naked and numb, but from that I could see on the live coverage on TV, that was a minority, and I think it's safe to say that next year we'll have to do much better, or the gay people won't come back to the best city in the world anymore in the future to celebrate their specialness and equality with the hetero-society they're forced to live in...personally I love the rain and I can't wait for the current shower to stop so that I can hop on my lovely bike and shoot some puddles for your entertainment. And lets not forget, from next year on we'll also have the 'Straight Pride', to support and compliment the 'Gay Pride', I'm sure together we can even stop the rain, because we are beautiful and we can do anything that we want :) Amsterdam People Movie Of course I've made a movie of this puddle as well, watch it on my YouTube channel! Saturday 07/08/2010 Let The Gaymes Begin! Unedited shots of preparations for the 'Gay Pride' Parties, reflected in a puddle in the Reguliersdwarsstraat in Amsterdam. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. Yesterday I bumped into the good folks preparing the Reguliersdwarsstraat, one of the 'gay streets' in the best city in the world, for the 'Gay Pride' parties and luckily there was a nice puddle around, so I shot them...with the cam! I'm not gay and I don't even have a boat (anymore), but I have a plan, next year I will be there, with all my gay&straight friends, celebrating the 'Straight Pride' together with the 'Gay Pride', to support the equal rights movement, and to make sure us Poonani-lovers get to dance around naked for one weekend in the year as well :) The Gaymes Movie I've shot a couple of movies of the preparations as well, check them out on my YouTube channel, thank you! Friday 06/08/2010 Welcome To Gaymsterdam! Unedited shots of a 'Gay Pride' flag reflected in a puddle in Amsterdam. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. This week Amsterdam is hosting the annual 'Gay Pride' and everybody is already excited about the canal cruise that they're going to have Saturday, it's always a colorful, happy event that attracts millions of straight people to come and watch the gay people celebrate the highlight of their year. I strongly believe that 99,99% of the straight guys witnessing this extraordinary gathering wish that there was a heterosexual equivalent (not to take away the spotlight and appreciation from our gay friends, they surely deserve their special week and I'm proud and happy that it's happening right here, in the best city in the world!), and to be honest, I've been thinking about organizing a 'Straight Pride' alongside (and supportive of) the 'Gay Pride' to allow us non-schlong-lovers to go nuts and shag our brains out for one lovely, fantastic week, while we forget all the troubles of this world...anybody wants to sponsor this childish dream of mine?! I think I'm gonna set up a Facebook page to promote the idea, maybe by next year August there are enough feeble minded folks like myself that will support this festival of harmony, tolerance and mindless, frantic love-making, hahaha. Thank God it's Friday and I can make up weird shizzle like this all day long, yay :D Gaymsterdam Movie I've shot a movie of the puddle flag as well, watch it on my YouTube channel, thank you! I Somehow one of the richest, most hated persons on this planet, William Henry "Bill" Gates III a.k.a. Image 'borrowed' from http://www.businesspundit.com! Thursday 05/08/2010 Another AmsterS@m Classic Unedited shots of bikers and buildings reflected in a puddle in Amsterdam. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. I think this puddle and this church are familiar sights to anybody who comes to visit my Flickr stream regularly and of course it is very high on my list of favorite puddles, it's almost always there, it almost always provides great views and some of my favorite places to get coffee and hang out are just around the corner, what else could a wicked Reflectah ask for? I mean besides more rain of course, you can never have too many of those wet spots around, hehe ;-P Another Classic Movie Naturally I shot a wicked movie of this puddle, watch it on my YouTube page! Tuesday 03/08/2010 Too Fast For You! Unedited shots of bikers reflected in a puddle in Amsterdam. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop. I think I've mentioned this before, the Dutch women can, with their pretty legs, propel a simple old school bike up to speeds that come close to actually outpacing the sunlight, dragging tiny black holes in their paths that are covered in whirlwinds of smoking, burned-up tire tracks, leaving us dudes behind in a cloud of dust and fumes from the little rocket engines they must have built into those fabulous legs or they would not be able to degrade us so reliably each and every day in the best freakin' city in the world, hahaha :D In this shot you can nicely see how the woman on the bike has extended the flaps of her landing gear, her stop is probably just a couple of kilometers down the road and she needs to slow down or she might burn up on re-entry into the atmosphere! Then there's nothing for a long time... And finally... Too Fast Movie Of course I made a wicked movie of this puddle, watch it on my YouTube page! Monday 02/08/2010 Manic Monday Unedited shot of a biker reflected in a puddle in Amsterdam. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop :) Sunday 01/08/2010 Sima's Salon Unedited shots of the grand opening of Sima's Salon in Amsterdam last night. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. More pictures on my Flickr stream. Last night was the grand opening of Sima's Salon on the Westerstraat 122 in good old Amsterdam, and besides some cool DJs and lots of nice people, there was also a photo performance show by the lovely Miss Monyart, yay. I hope you enjoy this peek behind the scenes of a typical Amsterdam night, and since it was a private Party you couldn't have been there, even if you would have wanted to, so you better enjoy this, hahaha ;-D Sima's Salon Movies I shot some movies of the event too, check them out on my YouTube page! Monyart Movies The lovely Miss Monyart also made a very cool movie of the evening, watch it on her brandnew YouTube channel :)) Last Month |
