Top of Page x x x Saturday 07/04/2007 H@ppy E@ster :) I've mentioned it earlier this Month, Amsterd@m is D E A D...killed by some Dildo Politicians who figured that there are not yet enough polished, hyperexpensive, inhuman, freakin' Glass&Mirror Yuppie Cities in the lovely little Country that could...but let me take a Step back and explain: It started with the Closure of the local 'Hooters', admittedly a sleazy, smelly, sad, but very typical Amsterd@m Place... Then, once they started feeling Brave and Powerful because almost nobody objected, they started closing down the little Windows in the worldfamous Red-Light-District... Next came Outbreaks of Legionnaires Disease, a newly elected Fascist-Christian Government, Public Transport Strikes, Public Vandalism, Explosions of the Cost of Living...and then, then the Anne Frank Tree died...how Symbolic for the Downfall of this once F R E E, cool, dirty, fucked up, beloved best City in the World... Needless to say that this Grand Masterplan to change Adam includes Plans to close down all Coffeeshops (it's not allowed to drink Beer there anymore since the 1st of April 2007), Magic-Mushroom-Shops, Bars where you can smoke Cigarettes, Clubs, Squatted Buildings and any other Establishment that used to make our Hometown so special...and every Day more and more Police in the Streets, pulling us of our Bikes to slap us with 50euro Tickets for not having proper Lighting or no ID Card in our emtpy Wallets...way to go, even Nazi Germany had to practice for a While before they had it right! I'll say it one last Time and then I'll pack my PC on my Bike and ride off into the Sunset, to some better Place where People can still be whatever the F U C K they want to be...I'm a little afraid that this Place only exists in our Heads now... Top of Page x x x Monday 02/04/2007 Yesterday our beloved, cool, funky Amsterdam died a slow, painful Death, suffocated by Beurocrates and their fucked up Phantasies of a safer, nicer, cleaner, Kid-safe Amsterdam...I wish this was just an April Fool's Joke, but it's the sad, unbelievable Truth...
